Production Electrician

Description:

Being the Production Electrician was an absolute blast. Since this show had a pretty long lead time being the last show of the semester I wanted to focus on a couple of larger projects in addition to the normal challenges faced while PE-ing a show. Not only was a this a challenging rig to put up with lots of added positions and ladders but I decided that I wanted to design and fabricate removable custom footlight brackets. Photos and drawing of these brackets can be found lower down the page. The second major project I took on during this production was coordinating the lending & training of a PRG Ground Control System for the duration of the production. This marks the first time that UNCSA has worked with a remote control follow-spot system and was a great experience to all involved.
